Our Heritage & Craftsmanship Roots

In British homes, window dressings are more than decorative fabric; they frame the daily light, offer evening warmth, and define a room's character. Yet, the small hardware that holds those draperies in place is frequently overlooked until a weak clip slips or a noisy ring scratches the pole.

Operating from 90 Crankhall Lane in Wednesbury, right in the industrial workshop heartlands of the West Midlands, Caldmore Hardware was founded on a steadfast hardware philosophy: straightforward integrity, honest materials, and fittings that are built to last.

Our Specialisation: Drapery & Curtain Clip Rings

Rather than attempting to offer every household gadget, our online store focuses exclusively on high-performance Clip Rings and Window Hardware. Every ring, clip, and bracket in our range is sourced and inspected against strict functional criteria:

• Reliable Tension Springs: Heavy-gauge tempered steel springs inside our crocodile clips that grip heavy velvets, thermal linens, and sheer voiles securely without sagging.
• Silent & Smooth Gliding: Precision-moulded nylon inserts and micro-polished internal diameters that glide effortlessly across timber or metal curtain poles without screeching.
• Artisan Finishes: From rustic hand-turned beechwood hoops and hand-carved brooches to electroplated antique brass, matte black, and satin nickel finishes that resist ambient moisture.
